She spoke briefly to the legislative committee about House Bill 883, but felt there was more she could have said to reinforce the need for this bill to pass and become law in Florida. On today's show I had the opportunity to interview Dr. Lynn Rapsilber. She is one of the founders of the National Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur Network, and will be presenting on multiple topics at our annual conference this year! On this special edition of the show, I had the opportunity to interview Madeleine Kelley, APRN. Maddie is a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who practices here in Florida. We discussed, among other things, a bill that is currently being considered in the Florida House of Representatives - House Bill 883. 
This bill, if passed and signed by Governor DeSantis, would give autonomous practice  designation to mental health nurse practitioners in the state.
